What is A Year With My Camera?
A Year With My Camera is a year-long beginner's photography workshop. You’ll progress from being a complete beginner to shooting off auto mode in less than six weeks. Then spend the rest of the year exploring composition, light, creativity and finding your style. There are three ways to access the workshop: free emails, workbooks or on the app.
What do you need? A camera with manual controls: one where you can change the aperture and shutter speed. Some bridge cameras only have “scene” modes and they are not suitable. You don’t need a camera with a changeable lens, so compacts and bridge cameras that have manual controls but a fixed lens are fine.
